The Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) course has strengthened my understanding of teaching theory, lesson planning, and classroom techniques, all of which I aim to put into practice.

Biography

My passion for teaching English began while volunteering as a mentor with Hackney Pirates (now Literacy Pirates), helping 9–12-year-olds improve their reading, writing, and confidence through creative projects, an experience that was both challenging and deeply rewarding. The Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) course has strengthened my understanding of teaching theory, lesson planning, and classroom techniques, all of which I aim to put into practice. My ultimate goal is to teach English, French, and Spanish both in Northern Ireland and abroad, but for now, I’m focused on gaining hands-on experience by supporting TESOL teachers and building my teaching hours.
