What our Apprentice’s Say

My main interests at school had been art, design and computing, so to discover a place which allowed me to explore all three was so exciting. The course offered the chance to study TV and Film, as well as hone my, storytelling and editing skills.

My favourite moment at Northern Regional College so far was our live television show day. It felt like we were all working on a real television show – it was all filmed live and we only had one shot at it. We were planning it for weeks in advance and it all came together so well.

What our Lecturer's Say

I have really enjoyed meeting new people and friends that share the same interest in Hairdressing as me. The facilities, equipment and products within the brand new Hair Salon at Causeway Campus has allowed me to develop my skills and knowledge, which I can apply in my part-time role at JIS Hairdressing in Bushmills and as I work towards my long-term goal of running my own hair salon.

I am really enjoying my time at the College and have found the lecturers extremely helpful.

I chose to study Engineering at Northern Regional College as they have the resources that I need to do what I want to do which is pursue a career in race engineering.

Once I complete my Level 2 Traineeship I plan to progress to the Level 3 Apprenticeship in Engineering and see how far Northern Regional College can take me in my engineering journey.

I really enjoy working in the new industry-standard workshop—it feels like I’m already part of the engineering industry. The atmosphere is great, there’s less pressure, and I still get the support I need to succeed.

I decided to enrol at the College as I had heard good things, and I was really interested in Beauty Therapy from an early age.

I thoroughly enjoy all the practical activities and hands on experience that this course offers. I plan to progress into employment as a beautician with the view of possibly going out on my own someday.

The excellent facilities and teaching and learning will help prepare me to work in the beauty industry.

I would recommend this course to anyone interested in Beauty Therapy. You will learn everything you need to make it in the beauty industry.
